I am a Professor in the SCSE Department at UESTC, and a director of DSC (Distributed Storage and Computing) Lab. I completed my Ph.D. at UESTC.

Research: I work in the areas of data management and natural language processing. My research aims to improve the performance, robustness, and ease of management of distributed storage system and distributed database management system. My current research centers on query optimizing, data cleaning, and text mining. I am also interested in performance modeling and analysis of data space and bridging theory and practice in big data process and analysis system. My past work has contributed to mobile and sensor computing, wireless networks, overlay and P2P networks, and distributed computing.
