Leyuan Liu, Ph.D., Associate Professor, and member of the Communist Party of China. He received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in Information Security from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), and obtained his Ph.D. degree in Advanced Information Technology from Kyushu University, Japan, in 2014. Since 2017, he has been with the School of Information and Software Engineering, UESTC.
His research has long focused on information content security, with particular attention to the detection of misinformation dissemination. He has led or participated as a principal investigator in more than ten research projects, including key projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and major provincial projects on information security and integrated circuits in Sichuan Province. In the past five years, he has published over 20 high-level academic papers, including 7 first-author or corresponding-author papers in top-tier journals and conferences (Chinese Academy of Sciences [CAS] Q1/CCF-A/UESTC Category A), and 12 papers in CAS Ranking Q2/CCF-B and above.
